This document outlines the permitted Power Unit (PU) energy usage and power delivery limits during the 2026 Canadian Grand Prix across different sessions (Practice, Sprint, Race, Qualifying). Key regulations include maximum recharge per lap (8.0–8.5 MJ), maximum PU power reduction rate (100 kW/s), and session-specific DC power limits. Sector-based exceptions are defined for PU power reduction (e.g., 350kW allowed between 980–1100m) and MGUK power reset windows. The Overtake system activation is governed by detection and activation lines at 3870m and 3982m, with a 1.0s detection gap, per Article B7.2. Various sections of Regulation C5 and B7 are referenced to define power curves, speed thresholds, and lap distance windows for compliance.
