This document outlines the permitted power and energy usage for the Power Units during the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. It specifies maximum recharge per lap (8.5 MJ in race, 9.0 MJ in practice/qualifying), maximum power reduction rates (100 kW/s), and ERS-K power delivery limits based on car speed. Sector-specific exceptions are defined under C5.12.4, C5.12.5, and C5.2.8iii, allowing up to 350 kW power reduction in designated zones (e.g., T1-T2, T10-T12, T13-T14). Overtake mode activation thresholds are detailed in B7.2, with detection lines and speed thresholds (260 km/h) in specific sectors (T2-T3, T9, T13), enabling driver-activated power boosts during overtaking attempts.
