Kimi Antonelli issued a warning for exceeding the time limit between Safety Car lines during Sprint Qualifying.

Car 12, driven by Kimi Antonelli, exceeded the time limit between the Safety Car lines during Sprint Qualifying, violating B1.8.5 of the FIA F1 Regulations and failing to comply with the Race Director's Event Note (item 1, document 6). The Stewards reviewed data including positioning/marshalling systems, video, timing, telemetry, team radio, and in-car footage, concluding that Antonelli was driving unnecessarily slowly without letting any cars pass. As a result, a warning was issued to the driver. The competitor, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, was reminded of their right to appeal within applicable time limits per Article 15 of the FIA International Sporting Code and Chapter 5 of the FIA Judicial and Disciplinary Rules.
