During the Sprint session, Lewis Hamilton (Car 44) left the track at Turn 13 and rejoining ahead of Oscar Piastri (Car 81). The Stewards reviewed video, timing, and telemetry data and determined that Piastri was not in an overtaking position, so Hamilton was not defending and did not gain a lasting advantage, per the Driving Standards Guidelines. Therefore, despite breaching B1.8.6 (which prohibits leaving the track without good reason), no penalty was issued. The decision aligns with precedent set earlier in the session involving Cars 27 and 30.
