During the Sprint session, Car 31 (Esteban Ocon) was reported for allegedly releasing air from the left rear tyre while the wheel was fitted, potentially breaching tyre operating procedures. The stewards reviewed testimony from the team, technical officials, and video evidence from Car 11 and the FIA grid camera at position 14. It was determined that no regulation breach occurred—the incident was caused by a visual misidentification: a crew member was handling the tyre blanket’s electrical cable, which closely resembles an air hose. Physical inspection of the tyre blanket and pressure gauge from Car 31 confirmed no pressure release. Therefore, no further action was taken.
