Doc 76 - Infringement - Car 14 - Unsafe release from garage

Fernando Alonso's car was unsafely released from the garage, forcing Car 43 to take evasive action during Qualifying.

During Qualifying, Car 14 (Fernando Alonso) was released from the garage into the path of Car 43 (Franco Colapinto), causing Colapinto to swerve and lock his front wheels to avoid a collision. The Stewards deemed this an unsafe release under B1.6.2a, citing a breach of the FIA F1 Regulations. The Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team was fined €5,000 as a result. Video evidence confirmed the incident, and the team was reminded of their right to appeal within the prescribed time limits.
