Doc 82 - Decision - Car 18 - Allegedly impeded Car 27

Stewards took no action against Lance Stroll for allegedly impeding Nico Hülkenberg during Qualifying.

During Qualifying, Car 18 (Lance Stroll) was investigated for allegedly impeding Car 27 (Nico Hülkenberg) on the approach to Turn 5. Stroll stated he remained on line due to lack of power and concerns over losing control if moving left onto dirty track or grass. The Haas team and Hülkenberg acknowledged it was not unnecessary impeding. After reviewing evidence, including telemetry, video, and team input, the Stewards dismissed the incident, citing no breach of B4.1.1 warranting action.
