Summary
Pirelli tyre prescriptions and operating conditions for the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, including pressures, temperatures, and camber limits.
Explanation
This document outlines the Pirelli tyre regulations for the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix. It specifies cold pressure cooling curves based on tyre temperature, calculated using the formulas: Pfront = (T - 70) × 0.127 + Pstartf and Prear = (T - 70) × 0.124 + Pstartr, where T is the tyre temperature in °C. Minimum starting pressures are set at 25.0 psi (front) and 24.0 psi (rear) for slicks, with corresponding stabilized running pressures of ≥26.5 psi and ≥25.5 psi. Camber limits are -3.00° (front) and -1.75° (rear) for slicks. Intermediate and wet tyres have distinct pressure and camber settings. All tyres must not exceed 2 hours in blankets, and heating must align with session use. Tyre swapping between positions is prohibited. Maximum surface temperatures are monitored via IR gun as per FIA-F1-DOC-062. Compliance checks will include starting/cold pressures, re-heat pressures, EOS camber, and heating durations. The regulation B6.1.3.a explicitly authorizes this prescription.
