Lewis Hamilton penalised with a three-place grid drop for unnecessarily impeding Oscar Piastri during qualifying.

Explanation

The stewards found that Lewis Hamilton (Car 44) unnecessarily impeded Oscar Piastri (Car 81) during qualifying. Hamilton was travelling at reduced speed on the racing line after completing a fast lap and did not receive the team radio warning about Piastri approaching on a push lap. Piastri was forced to abort his lap. The penalty is a drop of three grid positions for the next Sprint or Race in which Hamilton participates.
