Explanation
The Stewards received a report from the Technical Delegate that Car 55 (Carlos Sainz) used a 4th Control Electronics Unit (PU-CE) during qualifying. All PU elements were replaced with FIA approval during parc fermé. This breached Article B8.2.2 (read with B8.2.3) of the F1 Sporting Regulations, and the penalty of a 10 grid position drop for the next race was imposed under Article B8.2.8.
