Alexander Albon's car started the formation lap with tyre blanket parts still attached, breaching start procedure rules.

Car 23 (Alexander Albon) began the formation lap with parts of a right front tyre blanket still under the car and a cable dangling, violating B5.5.5.a which requires all equipment to be removed before release. Despite attempts to remove the blanket, the team failed to fully clear it by the 15-second signal. The Atlassian Williams F1 Team was fined €5,000 as a result.
