Summary

Car 6 (Isack Hadjar) received a 10-second penalty for making more than one change of direction while defending from Car 16.

Explanation

During the race, Isack Hadjar (Car 6, Oracle Red Bull Racing) defended his position against Charles Leclerc (Car 16) on the straight before Turn 13. The stewards determined that Hadjar made more than one change of direction, violating L4.2.b of the International Sporting Code. Based on video, in-car footage, and positioning data, a 10-second time penalty was imposed.
